Privacy
Short version: we do not ask who you are, there is nothing to sign up for, and we do not sell anything to anyone. The longer version is below, and it describes this site specifically rather than websites in general.
What we do not collect
No account, no email address, no name, no password. There is no login and no newsletter. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share data with advertisers.
What is measured
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see how many people visit, which pages they land on, roughly where in the world they are, and how fast the site loads for them. This is counted without cookies and without an identifier that follows you between sites. We also record a few events about how the site itself is used — that a room was chosen, that play was pressed, that a track was skipped — so we can tell which rooms and which songs are worth keeping. None of it is tied to a person.
YouTube
The music plays in YouTube’s own player, embedded on the page. When you press play you are connecting to Google, and Google may set cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control and cannot see. The player is only created when the page loads a room; nothing is sent to Google before that. If you would rather not be tracked by Google, do not press play.
What is kept in your browser
Your language choice is remembered so the site opens in the language you picked. It stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Children
There is nothing here directed at children and nothing that asks anyone for personal information.
Changes
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it. It is meant to describe the site as it is, not as it was.
